About Us

Who are we?

Topsham Art Group (TAG) is a group of about 160 artists from beginners to experienced artists who use a wide range of media.

We meet at Topsham School, Orchard Way, Topsham, EX3 0DN (parking available) once a month on the fourth Tuesday or Thursday evening from 6.30 to 9.00 pm.  Practising artists talk about their work and inspiration, give demonstrations of their subject matter and techniques, art historians focus on particular art movements or individual artists.  Critiques give the members the opportunity to assess their work and artistic development.

Workshops during weekdays with professional artists, along with peer-to-peer learning give members the chance to develop their skills as well as try new mediums and techniques.  There are competitions and a major exhibition during two weeks in August.
