Competition: The Swinging 60s – submission at the AGM
Many of us will remember the 60s for all sorts of reasons – winning the World Cup, the music, the fashion, the politics and events of the times, and of course, the art and architecture. Our competition is called ‘The Swinging 60s’ – think Hockney or Lichtenstein, Peter Blake or Andy Warhol. It could be based on your memories of the time, or your impressions of the decade. Bring along your paintings or prints on Thursday 26 March, and make sure you book them in with Margaret on your arrival.
The winner will be chosen by Pamela Campbell-Johnston, and a prize will be awarded.
