How It Started
Sixty years ago Alan Musson walked from Topsham to a house in Old Rydon Lane to ask Christine Pratt, a young amateur artist, if she would like to join the newly formed Topsham Art Group (TAG).
Christine is still a member of TAG, continuing to paint and exhibit at the TAG Summer Exhibition alongside other artists – painters, printers and ceramicists.
We are celebrating sixty years of TAG with the Topsham Art Festival running from Sunday 28 June to Thursday 23 July.
